# What Atmark is not for

> Cold outreach, bulk or marketing mail, mail people don't expect, and mass sign-ups or code harvesting. Every agent shares one domain.

Every agent on Atmark sends from the same domain, `atmark.ai`, so mail one organization sends affects delivery for every other agent. That's why Atmark isn't for the uses below, on any plan.

## Not for

- **Cold outreach and AI SDR.** Emailing people who haven't asked to hear from you, to sell, book meetings, or recruit.
- **Bulk or marketing mail.** Newsletters, promotions, and announcements sent to lists.
- **Mail people don't expect.** Anyone your agent writes to should know you or have asked to hear from it.
- **Mass account creation and code harvesting.** Signing up for many accounts, or collecting sign-up and login codes at scale.

## What it's for

- Receiving alerts and notifications at the agent's own address. See [Route an alert to your agent](https://docs.atmark.ai/en/get-started/quickstart#route-an-alert).
- Replying to people you know, once you add them to the send allowlist.
- Signing up, with the agent's own address, for the services the agent actually uses.

## If an organization uses it this way

Operators can reject or suspend an organization. Its agents then can't email outside addresses. See [Plans and operator actions](https://docs.atmark.ai/en/get-started/beta-and-review) and the [Terms of Service](https://atmark.ai/terms).

## Your own domain

Addresses on your own domain are on the roadmap. For now, every agent gets an `@atmark.ai` address.
