# Invite members

> Invite admins or members by email. Invites expire after 7 days, and only reviewed organizations can send them.

## Before you start

- You need the owner role.
- Your organization must have passed operator review.

### 1. Open the invite window

In **Settings › Members & invites**, choose **Invite**.

### 2. Enter an address and role

Enter the **Email** and pick a **Role**. A **Member** can only view; an **Admin** changes agents, tokens, and policies.

### 3. Send it

Choose **Send invite**. It shows up under **Pending invites**.

## What the invitee does

1. Open the link in the invite email. Check that the invite was sent to their own address, then continue.
2. Enter the 6-digit code from the login email that follows on the same page, or open its link in the same browser.

Invite emails don't include your organization's name. Let the person know the invite is coming.

## Good to know

- Invites expire after 7 days.
- Choose **Cancel invite** under **Pending invites**, and the link you already sent stops working.
- The number of people in an organization (pending invites included) and the invites you can send per day are capped. The screen tells you when you hit a cap.
